- Our family is either constantly on the go or entirely too lazy to cook, so quick and easy is a must for us. The fewer the ingredients, the faster the cooking process or the ease of cooking always puts a new recipe at the top of the list.
We do not eat certain foods simply because we are picky eaters, not on "diets", so I'm always in the market for cookbooks to steal ideas from to liven up our family dinners and find new ways to cook pretty much the same things. I was able to get quite a few couple from this book, so I'm not going to knock it too much.
I am probably not going to run around recommending it to my friends, but I certainly do not regret purchasing it. This is one of those where I am just going to say "try it for yourself at your own risk" because I am simply indifferent on it. - There are some very interesting recipes, Alot for crock pots, many Oreo cookie recipes and one that gave me an idea.
There is a recipe for Ice Cream Bread, yes your eyes have not deceived you, that is what the book said. Now I thought wouldn't it be fun to use your favorite ice cream make the bread, and then make your own favorite bread pudding?! 🔰 😄. Think of the fun, and all the toppings you could make using you're imagination!
I figure, that sometime within the next five hundred years I might have time to make alot of the recipes in all the recipe books I have acquired over the years!!😉
Yes I would recommend this book, and to the Author four cups of tea. - Author Hannie Scott has cooked up some sweet recipes in her cookbook 5 Ingredient Dessert recipes. As always I enjoy reading her cookbooks as they are well well-written and filled with yummy recipes. Some of the recipes you'll find in her cookbook include

- I really enjoy this author's books which is why I just had to buy this one. She didn't disappoint, and my tastebuds were thrilled! This is now part of my collection of quick and easy "go-To"recipes. By the way ,the one I tried was quick,easy, and soooooooo good!
- A lot of recipes for crock pot and there are no pictures within this book for each recipe. I cant say this is a good "5" ingredient dessert book at all. I regret buying this book.
- This cookbook is great I think my favorite one was the rolo cookies. The recipes are easy and budget conscious
- Title is misleading. Sure, the ingredient list has less than 5 things, but a lot of them are box cake mixes, and all the ingredients that go into the cake
