• This is a nice illustrated guide to some of the common plants and animals you will see in Alaska. It is light weight enough that it would be easy to carry around with you, although the format is too big to fit in a pocket.
• Excellent information with very detailed, precise drawings of each living critter and plant in Alaska.
  The detailed descriptions of each of the creatures, including plant life, is invaluable for anyone planning on hiking the back country or staking their claim and moving to Alaska.
